A key approval stage has been reached for New Zealand’s Northern Corridor Improvement project. The project has been put forward by the 1009 New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA), with construction now expected to commence in the second quarter of 2018 and likely to take 40 months to complete. A key aspect of the project will be widening the bridge that crosses Constellation Drive, Rosedale Road and the Greville Road interchange. Other important parts of the project include building additional lanes for the SH1 motorway and upgrading the Upper Harbour Highway to motorway status.
