Doosan Infracore is offering its DX380DM-7, the third model in the firm’s high reach demolition excavator range. The machine joins the existing DX235DM and DX530DM models launched last year.

Caterpillar now offers Cat Grade technologies as an aftermarket option to owners of Cat next generation mini hydraulic excavators in the 6-10tonne class range. The systems are available through Cat and Sitech dealers and allow owners to equip machines with Cat Grade with Advanced 2D, or Cat Grade with 3D. The field kit’s modular components allow quick installation, while the technology integrates into the Cat excavator electronics infrastructure.

Steelwrist has added the SQ90 to its range of fully automatic quick couplers. This is the biggest model in the range of SQ Auto Connection quick couplers and is aimed at use with excavators weighing up to 70tonnes in the demolition industry.

Both models have a working width of 2.5m while the RS 250 version has a milling depth of up to 40cm and the RS 300 version has a depth of 50cm.

Remote surveying and scanning can be achieved using the autonomous robotic system available from Trimble. The package combines the Spot robot autonomous rover unit with the Trimble X7 3D laser scanner and Trimble FieldLink software.
