In Norway a 10 year old boy has now been stopped by police on two occasions for driving his parent’s car. On the first occasion the boy waited until his parents were sleeping and then sneaked out of his room and drove off in the family car in a bid to visit his grandparents, some 60km away. Worse still, he took his 18 month old sister along for the ride.

Motorists in the UK were left feeling decidedly ill due to a rather unusual load being transported along a busy dual carriageway. The drivers had the misfortune to be using the same stretch of road as a truck carrying the carcass of a dead whale.

A taxi driver in Kyrgyzstan attempted to drive off after being stopped by police for a traffic infringement. The plucky policeman however had different ideas and held on tightly to the bonnet of the car, even as the driver veered from side to side of the road in an attempt to throw the officer off the vehicle.

A dim-witted Spanish driver has found to his cost that the police monitor social media for possible offences. A 20 year old student posted a video of himself controlling his car from the passenger seat. Police spotted the clip online, which showed the driver in the passenger seat steering the car and leaning over to work the pedals.

In the US three elephants caused confusion after they escaped from handlers at a circus and the animals damaged a number of vehicles before they could be recaptured. According to bystanders, the elephants rampaged past several vehicles in a parking lot, tearing off mirrors, damaging bodypanels and breaking windows.
