The TD9 is the first of three new world-class models that range from around 55-75kW and will be available from the third quarter of 2015. Swedish producer Thomas Concrete Group has acquired assets belonging to Coastal Concrete, a US company that operates 10 concrete plants in Georgia and South Carolina. This move will develop the position of the Thomas Concrete Group on the US East Coast between Atlanta and Raleigh. Coastal Concrete is one of the leading producers of ready-mixed concrete in several major cities along the Atlantic coast of Georgia and South Carolina. Terex has scored crane deals in both Abu Dhabi and Qatar. Abu Dhabi-based Abu Nasir General Transport has now boosted its equipment fleet with the addition of a Terex AC 100/4L all-terrain crane. The machine joins an existing fleet of Terex cranes with capacities ranging from from 80 to 500tonnes. The GrooveTex system improves and restores surface skid resistance by creating micro longitudinal grooves using closely spaced diamond-tipped saw blades at a predetermined width and depth.
