US off-road engine manufacturer Kohler has recently completed a 155,000m² expansion of its North American manufacturing facility in Mosel, Wisconsin ahead of its 150th year in business in 2023.
Sumitomo is now offering its new HA60-11 asphalt paver models, available in wheeled and tracked variants. The firm says that the machines are easy and comfortable to operate, while featuring low noise and exhaust emissions, together with easy maintainability. High performance and low running costs are key features and both variants compete in the 16tonne class.
GOMACO’s compact CC-1200e slipformer is ahead of the curve for the concrete construction segment with its use of electric power. Rory Keogh at GOMACO (and also vice president of the European Concrete Paving Association) commented, “It’s the first all-electric slipform paver in the world.”
