Several new road bridges are being built in El Salvador’s La Paz Department as part of a highway improvement project. The first of these is that 180m-long bridge the will span the Jiboa River. This will form part of the US$71.1 million upgrade of the road link connecting Zacatecoluca with the nearby Monsenor Oscar Arnulfo Romero international airport. This road section will feature four new bridges in all, once the project is completed in the first quarter of 2020.
