Dominican president Danilo Medina pledges to move on road projects

During the presidential inauguration ceremony for his second term, Dominican Republic President, Danilo Medina, has pledged to complete several projects including ten large-scale road projects during his next term of office (2016-2020).

During the presidential inauguration ceremony for his second term, Dominican Republic President, Danilo Medina, has pledged to complete several projects including ten large-scale road projects during his next term of office (2016-2020).

These include the extension of the Santiago road, the construction of a third section of the Juan Bosch ring road, in Santo Domingo, the Navarrete road, ring roads in Bani, San Juan, ring roads in San Francisco de Macoris, the Hato Mayor-El Puerto-Bayaguana road, and a new flyover along Isabel Aguial Avenue, in Santo Domingo Oeste.

Moreover, the government will continue to improve and repair regional and rural roads.
