Gradall Industries largest wheeled excavator model – the XL 5300 III – is on show at Conexpo 2014. Weighing 23.2tonnes, the XL 5300 III is said by Gradall to be designed for high productivity jobs on every terrain. With its new yellow Gradall colour scheme, the machine has a maximum reach of 10.3m and a dig depth of up to 7.5m. Its rated bucket breakout force is 113kN, and the rated boom force is 111kN. The PR 736 dozer being introduced to the US market at Conexpo 2014 is the first model in Liebherr’s new Generation 6 series and is said to offer customers increased efficiency and lower fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. Among the innovations on the Generation 6 machine models, including the 20-25tonne service weight PR 736, are electronic travel speed regulation with an integral eco-function, and pro-active power control.

Claimed by Asphalt Drum Mixers (ADM) to offer high efficiency and a compact design for contractors with low to medium production needs, the U.S. firm will be showcasing its new EX Series asphalt plants with single-drum counterflow technology at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2014. Manitowoc will launch its 165tonne MLC165 lattice-boom crawler crane on to the U.S. market during Conexpo 2014. The MLV165 will be joined by two completely new crawler cranes – with Manitowoc keeping their details under wraps until the show.Designed for the global market, the MLC165 was first shown at the bauma 2013 exhibition in Munich, Germany.
