Two new high capacity dumpers and launch big rough terrain forklift are being launched by Ausa. The Barcelona-based manufacturer is showing off its D 600 APG and D 1000 APG dumpers with loading capacities ranging from 6-10tonnes respectively, alongside the new C 500 H 4WD rough terrain forklift capable of carrying 5 tonnes to a lift height of 5.45m. It is so new that only the prototype was available at the beginning of this year, but the company is proud of its all-electric version of its best-selling 350MH. Atlas claims the electric version will have around 25% less operating cost than a traditional excavator. Cummins will extend its QSF engine line-up at Intermat with new configurations focused on simplified installation packages intended for rental equipment applications. Engine manufacturer Yanmar has stayed ahead in the emission game and reassured customers running its TNV-CR series industrial diesel engines that they are compliant with the European Union Stage V regulations in 2019. Dana Rexroth’s R2 hydromechanical variable transmission, the HVT R2, is close to being introduced to the market. The company, a joint venture between Dana Holding Corporation and Bosch Rexroth, says engineers have completed final validation testing of the system, with production expected to start in the third-quarter of 2015.
