Five key highway upgrade projects are planned for Brazil.
Five highway upgrade projects are being planned in Brazil’s Rio Grande do Sul State. The work is expected to cost US$158.4 million. The improvements have been actioned by Brazil’s Ministry of Transport.
Upgrading the BR-153 will take two years to complete, while the improvements to the BR-386 will be carried out by concession holder ViaSul. Also planned are maintenance and improvement works for a 95.5km stretch of the BR-290, 79km of the BR-392 and a 26km stretch of the BR-116.
