The new road links include connections from Sangareddy to Nanded and Jagityal-Karimnagar to Kodad-Khammam. Meanwhile work is underway on a new National Highway link connecting Pratapagarh with Allahabad. The highway project is costing $89.6 million and the link will feature two lanes of traffic in either direction. The new link also includes the construction of a new bridge, costing nearly $45 million.
