A budget of nearly US$5.1 billion is being set for repairs to damaged roads by the Honduras Government. The damage needing to repaired was caused by Tropical Storm Eta. Around 120 roads require repairs due to the storm. In addition, the storm also caused damage to 51 bridges, 21 of which were wrecked and will need replacing entirely. A tender process for the supply of 20 replacement bridges is now opening.
