The Chilean Government has set out major plans for transport infrastructure development. The plans are for the 2022-2026 period and will see a total of US$13.26 billion being spent on infrastructure of all types.
The plans have been drawn up by Chile’s Ministry of Public Works. A total of 52 projects are planned and 43 concession packages. One of the largest projects is for the improvement of the important Pan-American route. This will cost an estimated $4.55 billion and include as many at 12 concessions in all.
