Tendering is underway for the necessary studies into a key motorway project in Morocco. The new route will improve travel between Meknes, Fez and Beni Mellel. The tender process is being managed by the Ministry of Equipment, Transport, Logistics and Water.

The studies are expected to cost nearly US$1.64 million in total. One study will be for the stretch between Beni Mallel and Khenifra. The other study will be for the stretch between Khenifra and Fez-Meknes.

Key road works in Morocco will help boost transport in the country, which is investing heavily in transportation.
