Improvements are planned for a key road connecting Russia with Finland
Improvements will be made to the road connecting Russia’s Leningrad Region with Finland. The work will deliver a better link between the Scandinavia Highway and the border checkpoint at Brusnichnoye.
The project forms part of an existing agreement between Finland and Russia for cross-border cooperation. Delivering the new road project is expected to cost around US$40 million. This will provide an improved transport connection between Finland’s capital Helsinki and Russia’s second city, St Petersburg.
