A new bridge linking Ukraine and Moldova has been proposed.

The tender process is opening for a new bridge planned to connect the Ukraine with Moldova. The structure would span the Dnister River, which forms part of the border between the two nations. The winner of the tender should be announced in July 2021. The project is expected to cost US$124.6 million.
Improving transport between Ukraine and Moldova is expected to help boost trade and economic activity. The country is also benefiting from an extensive programme of road maintenance and bridge construction and upgrades.
