Bolivia’s highway expansion programme continues with plans unveiled for a new project worth some US$400 million. The highway will be located in the vicinity of Cochabamba. Discussions over financing the project have been carried out with the Latin American Development Bank (CAF). A timeline for the project has not so far been announced however. The route of the highway has also to be announced.

Bolivian Government to invest US$129.3mn in Moxos-Trinidad road

A project to improve Bolivia’s existing 77.8km road between San Ignacio de Moxos and Trinidad will cost US$129.3 million, the government has announced. The tender process will open shortly in Bolivia for a key highway connection

A new road in Bolivia is planned to improve connections between Montero and Yapacani. A loan worth US$122 million for the project is being provided by the Inter-American Development Bank (IADB). Work on this four-lane road is being managed by Bolivia's road company ABC and the tender process is expected to open shortly.
