A 4.9km long bridge will be constructed close to Ukraine’s capital Kiev. This structure will span the Dnieper River and will provide a key link for the country’s transport network. The project is expected to cost in the order of US$1.88 billion to complete. A feasibility study of the project has been carried out for Ukraine’s transport ministry. The bridge will be linked to the Kiev Ring Road by a 26km long approach road. Construction of the bridge is expected to take 70 months once work commences.
