A series of major highway and bridge contracts will be opening for tender in Indonesia. The six projects will be for the island of Java, featuring a total value of US$6.55 billion and will be handled under the PPP model.

The toll road projects are for the Bogor-Parung-Serpong route, the Cikunir-Karawaci road, the South Sentul-West Karawang connection, the Malang-Kepanjen road, the Semanan-Balaraja link and the Kamal-Teluknaga-Rajeg route.

The tender processes are opening between October 2021 and December 2021 for these toll road projects. Indonesia’s Ministry of Public Works and Housing (PUPR) has so far opened 24 highway projects, many of which include bridge contracts, during the past 12 months.
