Work starts on US$3.6 billion Colombia 5G highway project
Construction work is now underway on one of Colombia’s new 5G highway projects. The project is expected to cost US$3.6 billion to build, manage and maintain and is for the Troncal del Magdalena 2 road.
This is one of the first 5G projects for the country to be built. Around 272km of the route will be upgraded. The project is being managed by the road firm Autopista del Rio Grande and the work should be ready in four years.
