The Powerlift 1000 has a maximum 55tonne lifting capacity and 203.5mt load moment, combined with a 55m main boom and a maximum 61m system length. It can be fitted with 6, 9, 12 or 15m fixed jibs. It has a self-rigging design boom and high/low lifting speed settings of 124/73m/min. At only 3m wide, Terex claims the Powerlift 1000 is the most compact crawler crane in its class, enabling it to fit through China’s narrow toll-ways.
This new crane boasts the same Terex cab design found on similar cranes operating worldwide. It is powered by a 155kW six-cylinder diesel engine that meets China’s national III emissions standards.
Terex aerial work platform business Genie has unveiled, what it claims, is the world’s biggest self-propelled boom, the SX-180. Intended primarily for oil and gas industries, construction and industrial maintenance, the boom has a 54.9m vertical working height and a 24.4m horizontal reach. Equipped with a 2.44m by 0.91m basket, and a 3.05m rotating jib, the machine has a working capacity of 340kg.
