FRD adds crushers and shears to demolition attachment range
Furukawa Rock Drill (FRD) is extending its hydraulic attachment line-up with additional V Series jaw crushers and shears. The company has extended its VM Series of rotating crushers from two to seven models, now suitable for excavators of 12-100 tonnes operating weight. In addition FRD will offer the VS Series of secondary demolition crushers for 11-50 tonne excavators, along with the VR Series of steel cutters with both fixed and rotating heads, which can be both boom or dipper stick mounted.

Furukawa Rock Drill (FRD) has developed the Fx Series of small hydraulic breakers with a scaling version for tunnel use. Using a mono-block cylinder with replaceable wear parts, the Fx Series breakers are said to provide increased power with reduced operating noise. There are four Fx models available with weights of 112-300kg, they are intended for excavators with operating weights of 1.5-7 tonnes.
Rotar will use Bauma to launch a new range of attachments with the new RDC Series shears, the RDP Series pulverisers and the RHB Series hydraulic hammers. A new RG Series grab will also be unveiled for excavators from 2tonnes to 60tonnes. The RG range uses a double-framed main housing for stability and the rotator head is driven by a Parker motor with an integrated cross-over valve.
