Digging performance and machine durability is said to match the conventional diesel-driven PC210 model. The Proterra battery system is said to allow operation for up eight hours when fully charged. Electric power means that the machine can be used in areas without about noise or exhaust emissions such as underground operations, as well as urban areas and night-time construction work. The zero-engine vibration also helps reduce operator fatigue.
