A series of tenders for road maintenance work will be opened in Poland shortly. The tender process is being handled by Poland’s General Directorate of National Roads and Motorways (GDDKIA).
The 96 tender packages being offered during 2021 have a total value of €1.22 billion. A further 88 tenders for maintenance packages will be opened in 2022. GDDKIA says that the tenders present an opportunity for small-medium sized contractors to bid for works.
Meanwhile, GDDKIA has awarded a contract worth nearly €330 million for an 18.3km dual carriageway linking Krakow and Widoma Junction. The work will be handled by a consortium comprising Mosty Lodz and Gulermak.
