Work is underway in Ghana for a new highway project.
Construction work is now starting on a new highway stretch in Ghana. The project is for a 168km highway that will link Tatale and Tamale. Funding for the project is being provided by the World Bank (WB) and the work comes with a pricetag of US$150 million.
The project is being carried out in two separate stretches. One of the contracts is for a 106km section between Tamale and Yendi. The other section is for a 62km stretch of highway between Yendi and Tatale.
