A US$2.1 billion funding package will help pay for two Brazilian road projects.
A finance package worth US$2.1 billion is being provided for upgrade work on Brazil’s Presidente Dutra and Rio-Santos highways. The funding is being provided by the National Bank for Economic and Social Development (BNDES).
The highway routes are operated by Grupo CCR. The firm intends to put $3.07 billion worth of funding into the two highways by 2031. In addition, BNDES has said it will invest a further $5.94 billion in highway works for Brazil during 2025.
