Transport in India’s Ladakh region will benefit from nearly US$143 million worth of funding. The package is being provided via the Ministry for Road Transport and Highways of India. The funding will be used to pay for 29 road projects in the Union Territory of Ladakh. Road improvements and maintenance works will be carried out.
