The proposals for the Land Bridge project should be ready by the third quarter of 2024. The plans suggest that financing could be in place by the third quarter of 2025. Construction could start by 2026 should the current timeframe be maintained. The work would be carried out in three phases, with completion due in 2036. The project would include building the Ranong Port and Chumphon Port, as well as interconnecting motorways and rail lines.
