The tender process is open at present for a section of a major road project in Romania. The bidding is for part of the Lugoj-Deva highway and will remain open until 9th June 2022.
The winner of the package of works will be awarded the contract for design and construction of sections E and D of the route, just over 9km of the highway. One of the most complex aspects of the work will be for the design, driving and delivering of the tunnel stretch measuring just over 2km. Much of the funding for the project is being provided by the National Resilience and Recovery Program (NRRP).
