Romanian road project will be built by an Italian-Romanian team.
Romanian and Italian construction firms are to construct a new highway stretch in Romania. The 21km stretch of the A7 highway will connect Mizil and Dumbrava.
This is the first section of the planned A7 route to be built. The builders face a number of challenges, including the construction of 14 bridges as well as 500m tunnel section.
The package of works is worth €297.62 million. Funding for the project is being provided through Romania’s National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR).
