Prenj Tunnel contract to be tendered

Bosnia is planning to launch an international tender for the construction of the 10.5km Prenj Tunnel to be completed in 2028. No

The tunnel will form part of the important European Corridor 5C route and cost nearly €58 million (US$611.5 million) to build.

Meanwhile, in the Republika Srpska, an entity within Bosnia, work on a high-speed road to the loop in Okucani has started and is due to be completed within two years. Work is also due to start on a 17km stretch of the highway between Raca and Bijeljina, which is worth €132 million. Integral Engineering is the chosen contractor, with work expected to start soon.
