A new road link is being proposed for Southern Cambodia to improve transport connections to Bokor. The 127km link is expected to cost in the region of US$400 million to construct.

Approval has been given for the route, which will link with National Road 4 and construction work has already commenced. However, the complete funding package required has yet to be secured for the work.

The new road link will boost transport connections to Bokor, helping to develop tourism in the area, with the Sokha Hotel Group being instrumental for the project.
