Two major new motorway projects are being planned for Thailand. These works form part of a wider programme intended to improve transportation in the country.
Thailand has set an impressive budget of US$44.8 billion for the transport development programme. The two motorway projects are for the 96km M81 connection between Kanchanaburi and Yang Bai and the 196km M6 connection linking Bang Pa-in with Nakhon Ratchasima.
