The funding package has been secured for a key highway project in the Czech Republic. The highway will link Pisek and Pribram. The work will be carried out by a joint venture comprising VINCI Highways and Meridiam.

Funding worth €474 million has been secured. The project involves building a new 32km highway. In addition, an existing 16km of road will be upgraded, widened and rebuilt so that it features two lanes in either direction.

The joint venture partners have a 28 year contract to manage the route. Construction will take 41 months. The work will boost connectivity for the Czech Republic.
