China’s Henan Province has set out a budget for road improvement and maintenance works. A budget in excess of US$609 million will be used to carry out repairs, maintenance and improvement works to 623km of national and provincial highways.
The road improvements form part of a plan to tackle necessary reconstruction works in China's Henan Province, following heavy rainfall. The work is starting this year and should take until mid-2022 to complete.
Meanwhile, a substantial budget of close to $1.9 billion will be used to improve around 5,300km of rural roads in China's Henan Province.
