A new road project in Armenia is receiving a funding package worth US$150 million. The 32km road will connect Kajaran with Agarak. The funding is being provided by the Eurasian Development Bank. The road forms part of the project to develop the North-South Corridor and as Agarak lies on the border with Iran, this link will also help trade with Armenia’s neighbour to the south.
