A-Plant has invested €3.32 million (US$3.4 million) to purchase more than 200 ride-on rollers manufactured by Hamm, part of the Wirtgen Group, for its hire fleet in the UK. The bulk of the A-Plant orders have been placed for the HD 8 VV and HD 12 VV ride-on rollers. The 8 version has a roller drum width of 0.8m and engine power of 14.8kW, while the 12 version has a 1.2m drum width and engine power of 22.9kW.
