Work is planned to restart shortly on a US$211 million expressway project in the Philippines. The project is for the Central Luzon Link Expressway (CLLEx).

The work should get underway in the second half of 2024. When the project is complete, it will boost capacity and reduce journey times for drivers at peak periods. The expressway will provide a better connection between Cabanatuan City and Tarlac City, which lie to the north of capital Manila.
