A new highway link is being planned for Bangkok.
A new highway link is being planned for Thailand’s capital, Bangkok. The 16.4km highway will connect Ekkachai in Bangkok with to Ban Phaeo in Samut Sakhon. The aim of the project is to help reduce Bangkok’s chronic traffic congestion in and around the south west of the city, particularly on Rama II Road. The new highway is expected to cost around US$670 million to construct while it should take 36 months to build.
