Russian road deals are being planned.
Russia’s remote Altai Region in Siberia looks set to benefit from a new road project. The 68km link will include overpass stretches as well as a bridge that will span the Ob River. Official approval for the design and alignment has been given and the project is expected to cost around US$633.6 million. The region borders with Kazakhstan and Mongolia and the new road will help develop the economy of this remote area of Russia.
Meanwhile, a new bridge is also being planned that will span the Volga River. The bridge will be planned for Russia’s Central Federal district. The project will cost around $176 million.
