A new highway link is being proposed for Argentina.
A new highway connection is being proposed to link Argentina’s Tucuman Province with neighbouring Santiago del Estero Province. The highway route proposed is around 80km in length and will cost an estimated US$150 million to construct.
The new highway would provide additional capacity in comparison to the existing Route 9, linking the city of Tucuman with the city of Termas de Rio Hondo. Both cities are in Northern Argentina.
