Plans are being drawn up in Cameroon for the construction of a new highway that will connect Douala with Limbé. The French contractor Egis is now commencing work on a feasibility study for the project.

Plans are being drawn up in Cameroon for the construction of a new highway that will connect Douala with Limbé. The French contractor 2643 Egis is now commencing work on a feasibility study for the project. The 70km highway will present some challenges as the project will have to cope with local environmental issues in western Cameroon’s delta area, as well as being designed to handle the region’s heavy seasonal rainfall.
