Plans are being crawn up for a new bridge spanning the Paraguay River that will link Brazil with Paraguay. Final approvals for the project have still to be given. The bridge is costing US$61.4 million to build, with the funding for the work being split between Brazil and Chile. Plans are also in hand for a new road section to connect the bridge with Brazil’s BR-267 Federal Road.
