Mexico’s road widening project will improve transport between Cancun and Tulum.
A new road development project will improve transport for Mexico’s key holiday destination. Funding has been secured to upgrade the road connecting Cancun with Tulum.
The highway 307 route linking Cancun with Tulum currently has two lanes in either direction. But following the upgrade, it will be widened so that it has three lanes in either direction.
The bidding process for the work will open shortly. The tender is being overlooked by the National Fund for Tourism Development (Fonatur).
