A series of road improvements are being planned for the city of Medellin in Colombia. The plans call for US$129.9 million being spent on improving the city's road network.

This road repair programme forms part of the 2020-2024 development plan set out by the city authorities. This will be the highest budget for road improvements for the past three administrations.

Some $118.7 million will be directed to maintenance and upgrade works for urban roads. A further $11.2 million will be used for improving the rural road links around Medellin.

One of the biggest portions of the budget, $36.3 million, will be used to improve the interchanges on the Avenida 80 road. And around $6.6 million of the budget will be used to build and maintain bridges
