An Indian expressway package has now been awarded.
HG Infra Engineering has been awarded a package of works for a section of the Ganga Expressway in India. The contract is for civil and associated works for the new expressway. The deal will be handled under the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) model and the section of expressway will measure 152km in length.
The project is worth US$640 million and the section of Ganga Expressway will feature three lanes in either direction. The package of works for this section of the route was awarded by Adani Road Transport, which previously won a contract to build three sections of the road. When complete, the Ganga Expressway will measures 594km in length.
The project is being carried out for the Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial development Authority and is scheduled for completion in 2024.
