The bidding process is being delayed for the major D11 highway project in the Czech Republic. Bids for the project were originally to have been received by 17th March 2023 and was then delayed to 5th May 2023. It is now being delayed once more until 10th July 2023.

The contract is expected to cost €550.14 million and the section of the D11 will run from Trutnov to the country’s border with neighbouring Poland. Construction is expected to commence in 2023 and should take 42 months, with the work then due for completion in 2027. The project is being managed by the Czech Road and Motorway Directorate (RSD).
