A key Bangladesh highway contract has been awarded.
Contractor Abdul Momen has won a major package of highway improvement works in Bangladesh. The firm was awarded the deal for the highway linking Elenga and Rangpur.
The work involves widening key stretches of the highway. The project is worth US$1.96 billion and the package of works was awarded by the Roads and Highways Department (RHD). The work is important for Bangladesh and will help develop trade and transport in the country.
