Last journey

The driver of a skip delivery truck was given a rather unusual send off by his family, friends and colleagues following his death in a road crash. He was killed in his own car when it collided with another vehicle on a stretch of road since identified for its high crash risk. The man’s employer and family agreed that carrying his body to the crematorium on a skip delivery truck would be an appropriate tribute to the man, who was known for his sense of humour and colourful use of language. Meanwhile a floral tribute on the side of the truck spelled out one of his favourite words.
