A US$371 million road project is planned to be built in Niger. This 275km route will connect N'guigmi, Koulélé and Django.
Construction of the road link will improve transport connections in the South East of Niger, close to the border with Chad. The new road link is important for the oil supply route in Niger, providing a key economic boost for the country.
